brown paper packages tied up with string....

with awaiting the arrival of a dolls quilt, and hoping for the speedy arrival of a few packages from a little online shopping, I wasn't surprised when I arrived home to a postbag sitting on my door step today.
I was a little puzzled when I saw the sender was Car. It didn't feel like a dolls quilt, so I ripped into it and found a sweet little package - a brown paper package, tied up with string!
How could it be anything but delightful when packaged like that! It was the goodies from the PIF I signed up to on Cars blog early in the year.

The package contained a gorgeous little handmade zippered pouch filled with other goodies.

A coffee cosie (which will be perfect for the take away coffees on the way to watch the kids Saturday morning sports) , a very cute little needle kit, some quilting pins, and a couple of yummy treats. Thanks so much, I love it all!
And just to top it all off, a copy of one of the Elm Creek quilters novels that come highly recommended by a few quilting buddies... a little thank you for the package of scrapping goodies I sent Car a while back - so not necessary (it was my pleasure!), but much appreciated! I love seeing many of the pieces popping up on the pages of your art journals!
